Raped and Scared
I was raped when I was 5 years old. I know how people feel when they say they are too scared to talk about it. I was sleeping and my older brother was right next to me, and he told me not to say anything to my mother, but I did tell my mother. When I told her she did not believe me, and that really hurt me. She took me to the doctor and the doctor said that I had been touched, but she still chose not to believe me or the doctor.
What advice would you offer to encourage others?
Tell someone. Do not hold that in. Tell your parents. Tell the police and sit back and wait for that person to be in jail. Stand up, let your voice be heard. Please do not be scared and tell your friends and family. Please tell them–that way these people can be in jail.
